Anything can be carried; the question is whether it arrives the way it left. Our packing gives the fragile and awkward things the attention they actually need.
Most breakages do not happen in the van — they happen in a box packed in a hurry. A picture laid flat, a glass with nothing between it and the next, a record crate stacked wrong. Careful packing is the unglamorous bit, and it is the single biggest difference between a good move and a bad one.
We bring proper materials and take the time to use them — tissue and bubble for the delicate, blanket-wrap and corner protection for the heavy, and the right boxes for pictures, records and the awkward things every Brixton flat seems to have.
