Questions we get asked a lot
If yours is not here, just ask — email us or get a quote and we will answer it directly.
Everything, in one place
Do you know Brixton and SW9 well?
It is our patch. We move flats around the station and Coldharbour Lane, terraces up Brixton Hill, converted places in Loughborough Junction and family homes out toward Herne Hill and Tulse Hill. Knowing the one-way streets, the market-area parking and which blocks have a lift makes the whole day go easier.
Can you handle a top-floor flat with no lift?
All the time. A lot of Brixton is walk-ups and converted flats, so tight staircases and no lift are normal for us. We turn up with the right kit and enough hands to carry the awkward things safely rather than dragging them or leaving you to help.
Do you do man-and-van as well as full removals?
Both. If you have got a room, a studio or just a few big bits to shift, man-and-van is usually the right call — a proper crew and a van, not a lone driver. For a whole house or a bigger flat we bring a full removals team. Tell us what you are moving and we will point you to the right one.
Is there storage if my dates do not line up?
Yes. If there is a gap between moving out and moving in, or you are clearing a room while it is decorated, we can collect, inventory and store your things and bring them back when you are ready. It is handled as part of your move, not a unit you have to sort out yourself.
How do you deal with parking around the market?
We plan it before the day. The streets around Brixton Market, Electric Avenue and Coldharbour Lane can be tight, and some jobs need a suspended bay or a permit — we sort that where it is needed so the van is not circling while your stuff waits on the pavement.
Do you move students and house-shares?
Loads of them. Brixton has a big student and young-professional crowd, and end-of-tenancy turnovers are a big part of what we do — quick, careful moves between shared houses and flats, boxes to the right rooms, no drama.
Can you move us abroad from Brixton?
We run an international arm from Brixton to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. We pack up at the SW9 end, carry it over on a planned route, and handle the post-Brexit customs paperwork so you are not left working it out.
How do I get a quote?
Send us where you are moving from and to, a date if you have one, and a quick note on what is involved. We will get back to you to talk it through and sort a quote — no obligation.
